Guide launched to promote London as a start-up hub
A new guide has been launched to promote London as a start-up hub and encourage people to set up and grow their business in the city.
The StartUp Guide London was produced by content publishing company StartupEverywhere.com in partnership with innovation consultancy newmedia2.0 and aims to market the city internationally following the UK’s vote to leave the EU.
The guide, which has been backed by London’s mayor Sadiq Khan and the Department for International Trade (DIT), offers information to help people to work as an entrepreneur in London and to enable them to achieve success with starting up and growing their business in the city.
The guide is available to purchase through online and offline retail channels and contains a wide range of information related to start-ups in the city, including support programmes, inspirational start-ups, incubators, accelerators, service providers and co-working spaces.
Entrepreneurs can also have access to expert advice and gain inspiration from start-ups working in the city. The guide contains interviews with business founders and offers entrepreneurs detailed insight into London’s tech clusters.
London is currently Europe’s number one hotspot for start-up businesses. The city is home to 2,000 start-ups and offers 30 accelerator programmes to help provide support for start-up businesses.
